Dr. Szagesh graduated from Life University in December 1997 with a doctor of chiropractic degree. He moved to Grand Rapids in 2001 and opened a successful practice called Health First Chiropractic Clinic in 2002. After many years of practice and having multiple locations he felt there was something more than simply adjusting patients. He followed his passion and was officially trained in Clinical Biomechanics of Posture in Eagle Idaho. He is one of only a handful of CBP advanced trained doctors practicing in Michigan Realizing the benefit that CBP brings to the community and the challenges set forth from a solo practice, he joined Advanced Spine and Posture from Las Vegas and was able to bring the first Integrated approach to Grand Rapids. In his spare time, he enjoys live music and spending time with his daughter Adina.
Dr Linda Hegstrand
Dr. Hegstrand earned both MD and PhD (biochemistry) degrees from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and has postdoctoral training at Yale University with a Nobel Laureate. Her bachelor’s degree is in chemistry from Hope College. She also has extensive training in nutritional and energy medicine. She is a board-certified and licensed physician. Her medical clinic is the Complete Wellness Center in Grand Rapids, MI, where she is medical director and actively involved in treating patients who frequently come to her after having been to a dozen or more health care providers saying, “If you cannot help me, no one can.” Dr. Hegstrand is also Medical Director of the Blue Heron Academy. The foundation of the Blue Heron Academy is manual medical medicine. This has involved her in structural medicine and paved her path to joining Advanced Spine and Posture as their Medical Director. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her children and 4 young granddaughters. She is teaching them her skills in many sports including tennis, volleyball, basketball, softball, sailing, kayaking, skiing, ice skating, etc.
Dr. Zac Kucharek DPT
Dr. Zac attended Central Michigan University for his Bachelors in Biology while also completing a minor in Psychology. He greatly enjoyed his time and education from Central Michigan University and decided to attend the same University to attain his Doctorate in Physical Therapy. He has been drawn to the medical field from an early age with fascination for the anatomy and biomechanics of the human body. Then it was his own injuries in football and basketball that were worked through with physical therapy treatment that attracted him to direct his passion towards becoming a Doctor of Physical Therapy. Dr. Zac has focused in the musculoskeletal and orthopedic diagnosis of the spine and extremities, which over the course of his career thus far has only grown his passion to improve the lives of his patients through physical therapy interventions. He has recently moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan, and joined the Advanced Spine and Posture multidisciplinary team to employ his skills and experience to improve all aspects of the lives of each patient he sees. Dr. Zac uses the Biopsychosocial approach to treat a patient from all aspects of care including biological, social, and psychological factors that may be leading directly or indirectly to the individual's specific complaints. He is very excited to be working in a clinic that combines the knowledge and talents of so many different individuals in various medical fields to lead to the overall optimal outcome for a patient's recovery such as what is offered at Advanced Spine and Posture. In his free time Dr. Zac enjoys playing and watching all sports, as he was a three sport athlete growing up competing competitively. He now is a large Detroit sports fan especially of the Detroit Red Wings. Much of his free time is spent enjoying the outdoors and all that Michigan has to offer with hunting, fishing, hiking, kayaking and other outdoor activities with friends and family.

Dr Brian has been practicing corrective chiropractic for decades, helping patients feel their very best. He enjoys providing life-changing care to men and women of all ages, helping them transform their lives and live more purposeful lives free of pain and disease. Dr Brian has 45 years of history training in various martial arts, including Kung Fu.
